Anyone who is over 35 should massage the pericardium meridians . It can
keep your heart healthy and is a life-saving action. You might not have a heart
problem right now, and that’s wonderful. If you regularly massage the
pericardium meridians, you can stay that way.
Half an hour after dinner or around 7 to 9 o’clock in the evening is a good
time to massage the pericardium meridians. They are the center lines of the
inner arms, from the middle fingers to the chest. Gently massage and pat them
for 3 to 5 minutes on each arm.
The Nei-guan (PC 6) point is 2 Cuns above the center of the
wrist line. This is a very useful point. It calms the heart, stops pain,
regulates blood pressure and heartbeat and also comforts the stomach (see the
pericardium meridian chart ).
